Myotherapy & Remedial Massage can help with Pregnancy Pain

What kinds of treatments help Pregancy Pain?
The techniques we find that work the best for people with Pregnancy Pain include massage and Active Release of the hips and glutes, Myofascial Release for the lower back and ribs, taping for lower back and Sacroiliac stability and pain relief. Taping can also be used for fluid drainage for swollen joints - hello, cankles!
We can also safely use dry needling to provide pain relief and muscle relaxation.

Is it safe to get treatment while pregnant?
If you're getting treatment from a qualified and experienced therapist, then yes, it is absolutely safe to get treatment for pain while you're pregnant.
We hate to see pregnant women treated like they have a disease while they are carrying bub!!
There are certainly a lot of scary myths in regards to what is and isn't safe for you and your growing baby, but rest assured there are lots of safe and relieving techniques that can be used to ensure you don't need to grit your teeth and bare the pain as your body changes. We don't believe in making you wait until your baby is born before you can seek treatment for your pain.
We recommend making sure that you book with qualified, experienced and insured therapists at all times, especially if you are pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant.

Get your treatment plan started!
Lets start with your Initial Consultation and Treatment.
A typical treatment plan for Pregnancy Pain depends very much on your situation - how far along you are, what kind of pain you're having, how intense it is and if you have any pre-existing pains that are being flared up during your pregnancy.
Most women find they come in every 2-4 weeks to start with, and bring the treatments closer together as they get closer to their due date and the pressure and weight becomes more uncomfortable.
